Issue/Introduction

Compliance Event Manager's CEMELDAP task fails to connect to DB2 encountering the error:

ETLDP45E CA LDAP Server connect to DB=CEMEDBU failed, return code=-1 LDP6029I Unable to connect to DB Location.  

Review of CEMELDAP's stderr file reveals SQLERROR -922 Reason 00D31024.

Environment

CEM 6.0, DB2 v11

Cause

The SQLERROR -922 Reason 00D31024 code failure signifies an invalid  DB Location being specified in CEM's ..CONFIG.DATA file. 

Resolution

Correcting CEM's highlevel.CONFIG.DATA member with the valid DB Location  (derived from the -DSIPLAY DDF command), and then running the CEMCCONF job to populate the necessary runtime members (specifically, the CUSTOM.CFGLIB(CEMESLPC))  resolved the ETLDP45E CA LDAP Server connect to DB=CEMEDBU failed, return code=-1 LDP6029I Unable to connect to DB Location SQLERROR -922 Reason 00D31024 failure.
