Issue/Introduction

Datacom Version 15.1 PTF SO06314 only affects module DBACUPR. It is not an active module and cannot be NEWCOPYed. Can module DBACUPR be deployed by copying it to the active Datacom load library replacing the prior version the module? And, does the Datacom Multi-User (MUF) have to be cycled after it is copied?

Environment

z/OS

Resolution

DBACUPR is only used in the DBUTLTY address space during an ACCT EDIT or CATALOG.
Hence NEWCOPY is not needed for DBACUPR in the MUF address space.
Module DBACUPR module can be deployed without cycling the MUF.
