Issue/Introduction

When looking at lock contention online on the IRLMCONT screen, the report seems to show lock contention for all members in a datasharing group. If you sign on to Sysview/Db2 and select a particular subsystem to connect to, say D320 for example, does the IRLMCONT report truly show all contention across the datasharing group, or just the contention that D320 is aware of? If someone else were connected to a different datasharing member, say D322, would they see the same list of contentions as someone connected to D320?

Resolution

The IRLMCONT request has the DATASHARABLE keyword. This means that data will be gathered from all members of the data sharing group. So it doesn't matter which DC you are logged onto. The results should be identical on all members.
