Issue/Introduction

After migrating\ upgrading to 14.1 problems are encountered with the CA Identity Manager Connector Server (im_css.exe) connecting to Microsoft Active Directory.  This can appear sporadic or constant depending on the Identity Manager load.  

When the Connector server crashes it logs an exception in the Window NT Application logs.

Windows event log says:

Environment

CA Identity Manager 14.1
CA Identity Suite 14.1

Cause

This problem is happening because of access invalid memory.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in 14.1 cumulative patch CP4 specifically "CP-CCS-140100-0004 DE341196 CA Identity Manager - Connector Server (C++) service crashes intermittently."
