What is CA’s recommendation for the best Workload Service class?

CA Datacom/DB

 

Resolution

The recommendation is for the MUF to be at a higher Service Class level than any CICS region, batch job, CA Datacom Server task or anything else that will connect to the MUF and use its services. 

Beyond this, there are no special requirements for WLM service classes for the CA Datacom/DB MUF. Tune and monitor the setting as needed in your environment. 

If you have the ability to adjust it dynamically, we would advise that you could test changing the class and monitoring the performance level.
