Issue/Introduction

Installing Vantage USS server WebUI in an TCPIP stack and after that changing it to another stack by adding a step to bound on the new stack ip, I get the main HTML page but receive an error on LOGON to the host. What should I do to make it working?

As the Vantage WebUI was installed in a stack IP and now change to run into a different stack IP, it does not permit to connect to the Vantage host, why?

Environment

z/OS

Resolution

The reason is that each stack IP are isolated and not communicate directly together.

The solution is to make both application: Vantage WebUI and Vantage host to run under the same stack IP. So in this case, both application should use the same step to bound to new stack IP.
