Issue/Introduction

You are running with CA Common Services R14.1 S1401 and you are wondering if it is possible to increase the maximum number of thread managed by CCITCP started task over 199. 

Is it possible to increase the maximum number of thread managed by CCITCP started task over 199? 

 

Environment

CA Common Services R14.1 S1401 -

Resolution

1. The first way is to have the ID that is used by CCITCP to be UID(0). This will allow it to change it dynamically for CCITCP to 2000. 

OR 

2. The second way is that you can adjust MAXTHREAD and MAXTHREADTASKS in your BPXPRMxx to the value you want.
