PWP: U00003706 Variable is not share! and LDAP user "Access Denied"

Issue/Introduction

LDAP user unable to login with "Access Denied" message when attempting to login to the AWI.

U00003706 Variable 'UC_LDAP_' is not share! 
U00003234 Logon error: Access denied. (Connection='*CP001#', host = 'hostname') 
U00011800 Disconnect User: Cannot find user '*CP001#' in the table AKT-USER. 

Sometimes this message appears after an upgrade from 12.3 to a higher version.

Release: Any
Component: AAUTEN

Resolution

Go into client 0 
open LDAP vara 
Click Attribute Tab to go to "Variable Usage in Other Clients" 

If the "Object access from Other client" is set to "Don't share but allow duplicates":
Update it to "Share and allow read-only access"

If the "Object access from Other clients" is set to "Share and allow read-only access" already:
Change "Object access from Other clients" to "Don't share but allow duplicates"  
Change it back to "Share and allow read-only access"
