Issue/Introduction

Why does the SECTRACE show resource access denied by the 8th PROFILE on the user's ACID, when Listing the ACID it only shows 7 PROFILE?

Resolution

The TYPE(GROUP) ACID  is counted in SECTRACE to determine the PROFILE that was used. So if the user had 7 profiles and 1 group it is possible to get a trace entry with profile number:,
