ITSM Applications on Clustered SQL

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to install Service Management and Process Automation with a clustered SQL server setup?

Environment

Service Desk Manager 17.x
Service Management 17.x
Process Automation 4.3.x and 4.4
Microsoft SQL Server setup as a cluster (the MSSQL version must be listed as compatible with each application connecting to the instance)

Resolution

Service Management is cluster tolerant, but not cluster aware.  

That means that the applications will work with a SQL cluster as long as the SQL cluster behaves in the same way that a single server would.  

Configuration/Administration of the SQL Cluster is outside the scope of Broadcom Support.
