Issue/Introduction

The customer sees the following error message in the Vantage STC after someone installed the CA1 pool volumes feature:

CA$F820E DSN=data set name ALLOCATION FAILED.
CA$F805E OPEN INPUT FAILED FOR FILE.
CA$F899I FN=00000004 RC=0000000C RS=0000000C FB=00000008 DD=
CA$FVDB VIS0105I Open Failed for VPM Data Base.

Resolution

After removing SYSCONF member from the user Parmlib and recycled SAMS everything was working .

The cause of the error was that this member was 5 years old compared to the one we deliver, and should not be modified by the user.
