The command WHOHAS showed ACID *DEAD*' as owner of a UID #
How to remove the UID from a non-existing ACID of *DEAD*?

Resolution

To get rid of the *DEAD* owners, do the following:
TSS ADD(someacid) UID(x) where 'x' is the UID listing as *DEAD*
TSS REM(someacid) UID(x)
TSS MODI OMVSTABS (to refresh the UID table)
