With the current scheduler functionality, it is not possible for the MSP interface login window to accept the SSO login password. Since users who are using SSO will not typically know their PPM password, they would not be able to login to PPM from the MSP login window.
What is the recommended way to populate the MSP login window with the required information such as the username, password, SSL handling, PPM host and port?
Resolution
If users export a project from PPM within the browser to MSP using the Open in Scheduler option on their project, the project will open in MSP and the required login information will be passed along to MSP. The PPM username and password will be passed based on the user who is logged in. The SSL handling, PPM host and port information will be passed based on the URL that is set in the Scheduler Entry URL setting in the NSA.
Note: All SaaS environments will have the Scheduler Entry URL already preset in the NSA to use the SSL handling setting of Full and port 443.
