Issue/Introduction

Compliance Event Manager Sysplex implemntation with multuple lpars. When the CEVM CEMWHSE, CEMMON and CEMALERT component tasks are started the task abend with CCSR010E ECALCMGR S0C4 at 1904A52E LMOD ECALCMAP CSECT ECALCMAP +0364AE . What causes these abends?

Resolution

If the secondary lpars share the same repository and do not run the CEMELDAP task for CA LDAP Server or the CEMETOM for the TOMCAT server only the primary lpar needs a MAPDB file and that MAPDB file can be shared by the other lpars.  If an empty MAPDB file is pointed to by the secondary CEVM component tasks such as CEMWHSE, CEMMON and CEMALERT the tasks may abend due to an invalid MAPDB file.
