Receiving Default JOB Mode Panel Instead of a Customized ALL Mode Panel

Issue/Introduction

In a new test environment for View, a single user opened a default panel in JOB mode, whereas all the other users received a customized panel in ALL mode. How can the single user be set to ALL mode, like the others?

Resolution

A user in JOB mode will see different panels than a user in ALL mode. The View default (SARINIT DEFMODE) is to have someone have ALL mode and nothing else (DEFMODE=YNNNNN).

The only way that an isolated user could be in JOB mode, whereas everyone else is ALL mode, would be as a result of them (or someone else) setting them to JOB mode.

In the View "DEF USER" function, there is a column showing the modes that a person can use. Setting a user to YNNNNN will have them be in ALL mode as well.
