Issue/Introduction

Is Solve:Access 5.0 compliant with item 6.5.5 of PCI Data Security Standard 3.1?

 

The users logon screen shows various logon error messages:

N20E01 USERID XXXXXXXX IS NOT KNOWN, REENTER OR LOGOFF    

N20E02 PASSWORD IS INVALID, RE-ENTER

To be compliant with item 6.5.5 of PCI Data Security Standard 3.1, you will need to install PTF RO93353 and you must be running SEC=NMSAF to utilize this, second, a NEW SXCTL parm has been introduced which is: LOGONMSG  PCI 

 

The PTF will change the error message on an invalid logon to:

NSX957 USERID OR PASSWORD DETAILS INCORRECT
