How to download and install the latest version of Mainframe Webhook Server for Endevor?

Environment

Release: Endevor 19.0
Component: Endevor Webhook Server

Resolution

Method 1 (preferred method): 

Since webhook server is delivered by Endevor PTF, if V19 Endevor maintenance is current, after the SMPE apply, the latest MF webook server war file is saved to $SMPEPFX.CSIQHFS(MFWHWAR). 

Run WSTOMINS with action=WEBHOOK to install webhook server - WSTOMINS JCL will copy $SMPEPFX.CSIQHFS(MFWHWAR) to $TOMCAT/webapps

 

Method 2:

Login to Support Website

Click Mainframe Software

Click My Downloads 

Type  "Endevor" in the seach box

Click Endevor - You will see this: 

Click solution tab, then enter devops in the search box 

 

Click any of the link such as Endevor Integrations for Enterprise DevOps MIPS MVS to expand and select 19.0

 

Select 'MF webhook server' as the components and click search to list all the available Mainframe webhook sever.

 

Download the latest MF webhook server  

 

Install the Mainframe Webhook Server on any Tomcat installation that runs on the mainframe from which the events are sourced by copy the webhook war file to $TOMCAT/webapps
