When attempting to do a capture on any device the following error message is shown:
"Unable to connect to ncmservice.ncmservices daemon may not be running"
Release: Any
Component: SPCAEM
Restart the ncmservice process by killing the ncmservice process. processd will start a new instance of the ncmservice.
Attempt the capture again, if that does not work also try the following:
Go to the device(s), select Information Tab -> CA Spectrum modeling information Change DCM Timeout value from 3000, to something higher.
Max value is 60000.
Broadcom support suggests trying 10000 at first and going up from there during testing.
