From cust: Do we still need to run a NetSpy started task if all we are using is NetMaster for TCP/IP?

Environment

OS: z/OS.

Resolution

E-mail sent to cust:

From my case update you can see NetSpy is no longer part of the NM
suite.

L2 Support has provided these additional remarks:

If cust aren't using NetSpy for any purpose then the answer is that they
don't need to have a NetSpy running task. NetSpy is a very specific
SNA legacy product. If they don't use it for response times reports
or anything else I would suggest they just shut it down.
