getting error C1X0232E when trying to expand a Librarian -inc member

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Endevor, I now get the following messages when trying to expand a Librarian include member:

C1X0232E - STMT 1 INVALID-NON-JCL CARD ENCOUNTERED PRIOR TO FIRST STEP

Resolution

This is an indication that Librarian was not turned on in the C1DEFLTS table.

There are three parms that need to be modified to get the -INC to work:

LIBENV=LB,                  LIBRARIAN(LB), PANVALET (PV)                               X

LIBENVP=N,                  LIBRARIAN/PANVALET OPTION                                  X

LIBRPGM=DUMMY,              LIBRARIAN BATCH PROGRAM NAME                               X

 

Additional Information

If you are using the Librarian interface then LIBENVP will bet set to Y and LIBRPGM is set to AFOLIBR.

The table then must be reassembled and linked.  If the C1DEFLTS table is linklisted, then refresh the linklist.
