Issue/Introduction

IDMS startup issues the following error messages:

DC075022 V6 T3 Loader run units will not operate          
DC076010 V6 T3 Program.....: RHDCRUAL                     
DC076011 V6 T3 Subschema...: IDMSNWKL                     
DC076014 V6 T3 Error Status: 1491                         
 

Environment

Release: 19.0

Resolution

The meaning of the 1491 error status is:

There must be a DBNAME established before issuing a BIND RUN UNIT to the specified subschema.

A 1491 at startup indicates there is a problem with the DBTABLE.
Check the following:

• The correct DMCL is being specified in the DMCL=  PARM option of the JCL.

• The name of the DBTABLE specified in the DMCL is correct.

• Confirm the DBTABLE load module resides in the CDMSLIB concatenation.
