What is causing CA Datacom/DB Version 15.1 INSTJCL job IVPNEW02 to terminate with -117 DB RETURN CODE = 01(175)?

IVPNEW02 executes program DBSQLPR which requires Datacom SQL. The error is caused by Datacom SQL not having been activated in the CA Datacom Multi-user (MUF) startup options.

  

To activate Datacom SQL, assure that these options are in the startup:

DATACOM SQL                     

SQLDEFAULT 016,CASQLDEFAULT      

SQLOPTION YES,017,DATACOM,120,NO

 

Then, recycle the MUF and rerun IVPNEW02. 

You will see additional MUF messages such as this which indicates that SQL is now active:
