Issue/Introduction

How to make a variables value be lowercase.
We are needing the password to be lowercase used, in the &userpass variable.

 How do you set the Translate variable to uppercase to NO.

Resolution

You should be able to specify NO for the translate variable by going into PCS from the FAQS Main menu and choosing Global Configuration Options to make the change. 

To further explain:

Go into PCS from the FAQS Main Menu 

Select O for Configuration Options 

Select G for Global Configuration Options 

PF8 to go to second panel 

At the bottom you'll see Translate Variable to Uppercase 
... tab over and specify NO           ===>NO 

PF7 to back up 

PF6 to Update 





 

Additional Information

After making the change, look at an Event that includes a password variable and verify the password was in fact lowercase.
