Issue/Introduction

We are running with CA Common Services ENF and CCI

We would like to add additional nodes and connect statements without recycling CAENF.

Can CAICCI nodes and connect statements be added dynamically without a bounce of CAENF?

Environment

CA Common Services r15.0 with CAICCI -

Cause

Customer would like to dynamically add CCI node and connect statements without a recycle of ENF

Resolution

YES, as long as an existing CCI environment exists. This can be verified by locating the following message in the CAENF joblog:

CAS9626I - CAICCI Subsystem is operational
Please be aware that CCI is a subsystem of the ENF component and executes in the ENF address space.

If the environment exists, issue MODIFY commands against the CAENF address space to add new CCI NODE and CONNECT statements:

F ENF,NODE(...)
F ENF,CONNECT(...)

Additional Information

Review the CCI Control Options found in the r15.0 Common Services Documentation
