Issue/Introduction

We are running with CA Common Services R14.1.

We would like to add additional nodes and connect statements without recycling CAENF.  

Can CAICCI nodes and connect statements be added dynamically without a bounce of CAENF?

Environment

CA Common Services R14.1 with CAICCI -

Resolution

YES, as long as an existing CCI environment exists. This can be verified by locating the following message in the CAENF joblog:

CAS9626I - CAICCI Subsystem is operational

If the environment exists, issue MODIFY commands against the CAENF address space to add new NODE and CONNECT statements:

F ENF,NODE(...)
F ENF,CONNECT(...)
