TERM field on panel VOVMI200 not showing return codes.

Issue/Introduction

The TERM field on the VOVMI200 - MSGCLASS Job Selection Screen is BLANK even through some of our jobs are receiving step level Return Codes higher than zeros.

Is CA Dispatch supposed to display step level return codes in the TERM field on the VOVMI200 screen if they are greater than zero?

The CA Dispatch code that populates the TERM field on the VOVMI200 screen does not check for step level return codes.

It scans the MSGCLASS data looking for the jobs "termination code" and will only display the following in the TERM field: 

 

Code  | Indicates 

------------------------------ 

blank - Normal termination 

Sxxx  - System abend code 

xxxx  - User abend code 

JCL    - JCL or catalog error 

NCAT - Data set not cataloged
