Jaspersoft reports not running from Reports and Jobs in CA PPM

Issue/Introduction

Jaspersoft reports are not running from Reports and Jobs in CA PPM.  However, they do run from Advanced Reporting.

When running a report from Report and Jobs the following error is shown in Japsersoft.log:

 

2018-11-09 12:37:45,368 ERROR CustomTenantBuiltInParameterProvider,http-nio-8080-exec-1:153 [user|ppmjasperadmin] - Error in decrypting attribute with name:dwhDBVendor_enc
javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded
    at com.sun.crypto.provider.CipherCore.doFinal(CipherCore.java:991)
    at com.sun.crypto.provider.CipherCore.doFinal(CipherCore.java:847)

Resolution

To fix this error, please follow the below steps:

1. Login to Jasper URL using superuser
2. Navigate to Manage -> Users
3. Click on your organization ID on the left hand side and click on username "jasperadmin"
4. On the Right side you will see an option "Edit"
5. Click on Attributes
6. Delete all the attributes present one by one and click on save
7. Login to Clarity PPM Server and navigate to Clarity bin directory. Run the below command:

admin update jasperParameters
