CA EPIC 5.2 using tape pools; EPIC isn't recognizing a valid scratch is on the drive.

Issue/Introduction

EPIC is not recognizing a valid scratch is on the drive.  What should I do or check in my configuration?
 

Environment

Running EPIC with an EMC DLM.

Resolution

Define drives to the ERD using the TSIDSMNT ADD UCB= command. After updating the ERD, re-IPL and try the job again.


 

Additional Information

If an ERD is defined, then all tape drives must be defined to the ERD.
