Can I prevent the CA PAM Client from updating at startup ?

Issue/Introduction

We have a system where we want to deactivate automatic updates of the CA PAM Client when it starts up. Is this possible ?

Environment

CA PAM 3.0.3 and later

Resolution

Yes, this is possible starting version 3.0.1 patch 13

You need to create a file called update in the home directory of the CA PAM Client containing just the word false
