Issue/Introduction

The action hold for Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) PTF S004454 indicates:

1. Customize and run the IDB2INST job from the member ARCMIGUT in the hlq.CDBASKL0 SMP/E library.
2. Run SQL statements from the ALTEROUT file.
3. Modify your archive procedure to use the new LOAD statements and IQLs stored in the LOADOUT and IQLOUT libraries.

The IDB2INST job in ARCMIGUT is a skeleton with a number of imbeds, selects and so forth. Clearly there is an interface that
is to used to build this JCL for customization much like that for the IDB2SYS job at first install. What is that interface?
There is nothing documented in the Action HOLDDATA.

Resolution

There is a mistake in the HOLDDATA text. It is supposed to refer to the installation hlq.SOURCE library.
That is the place where the output from the skeleton customization process is stored.
