Issue/Introduction

Do we always need to remove the files in tmp and work folder under <JBoss>\server\default on applying patch for Enterprise Management that contains modules in JBoss. In readme file for some patches contains it in procedure but some do not.

Resolution

It is always recommended that we need to delete the files in tmp and work folders even though it is not mentioned in the patch readme file. Otherwise exiting cached files will be used by the application and application won’t work as expected.
