CA Gen batch job gives abend U100 DB LAST STATUS = DB.

Issue/Introduction

Getting U100 abend on a monthly Gen batch job after making a change.  
DB LAST STATUS = DB

Environment

z/OS

Cause

Increased the size of a field and getting U100, DB LAST STATUS = DB.

Resolution

The physical database is out-of-sync with the DDL.  It's data related as to the cause for being intermittently working or not.  Either back out the changes or correct the DB.
