Issue/Introduction

There is no uninstallation of a solution, e.g. RA FTP solution. I.e. the jar file cannot be "unloaded" or something like that. But it can be removed manually.

Environment

ALL RA Agents

Cause

No documented procedure for uninstalling a RA Solution.

Resolution

In order to completely delete a RA SOLUTION from an AE System you should delete the following objects manually, see below an example for RA FTP Agent:

  1. In client 0, stop and delete all related RA-FTP Agents (after having deleted previously all related Jobs/Connection Objects/Workflows on other Clients).
  2. In client 0, in the folder RA_SOLUTIONS delete the CITC related Object (FTPAGENT on this case)
  3. In client 0, in the folder STORE, open the storage object UC_ECC_PLUGINS and delete the row of RA FTP, i.e. ECC-AE-SHEET-RA-FTP.
  4. Restart the Jetty AWI or Tomcat hosting the AWI so that the related plugin is not loaded anymore.

For other solutions (RA WebService REST, RA Agent for Avaloq, ...) the procedure is the same. Only the names are different.

Additional Information

Pleae note that during the removal of the CITC Object, all objects that have something to do with the deleted RA Solution, ie. for RA FTP being AGENT.FTPAGENT, JOBS.FTPAGENT.FTPJOB, and CONN.FTPAGENT.FTPCONNECTION should be automatically deleted, if that's not the case you should delete them manually.

You should also delete all objects from the rest of the clients that you had created for the deleted RA Solution.
