TPX SAF TPXOPER hangs using SYSID=xxx

Issue/Introduction

In TPXOPER, if I enter a command like D U,SYSID=xxx for the other TPX region, my TPXOPER session hangs. This is happening for a privileged TSS ID using MFA RSA PIN+TOKEN (about 14 characters long) If I use a non-privileged TSS ID using just an 8 character password, TPXOPER does not hang up.

Cause

When TPX was enhanced to add TPXOPER command routing to other systems the SAF and ACF2 security modules were not enhanced to bypass password verification on the target system.

Resolution

Download and apply PTF SO06261.
