How do I resolve the following error: EZIOE002 Error opening file 'filename'.

This EZIOE002 compilation error is occurring under release 11.6:

      EZIOE002 Error opening file 'filename'.

      Installation does not allow this file to be updated.

How can I resolve this?

Resolution

Please confirm that the UPDTVS parameter is set to Y.

You may run the JOB06OP2 member of the CBAAJCL library to list the values of the option file parameters as well as to change the value of UPDTVS to Y if needed.
