Utility for editing SYSCHK1?

Issue/Introduction

Do you have a utility to read and update a SYSCHK1 data set outside of the OPSMVS ISPF interface?  We need to update a SYSCHK1 for system B. It is overlaid every week by a copy that resides on system A (not used by system A). We can make the changes on system B but they only last a week. We cannot FTP from system B to system A, in anticipation of the replication. So, as a lost resort, we were hoping you had a utility (via batch or within OPSMVS) to read and modify a SYSCHK1 that it is not allocated to OPSMAIN.

Resolution

Start an OPS without any rules etc. with a different subsystem ID that allocates the SYSCHK1 you want to change. And use OPSVIEW to update whatever table and variables you want.
