Issue/Introduction

After installing the OTK, these messages have appeared in the audit and ssg logs after restarting the gateway. Do these messages mean something was not installed correctly? Is this an issue or can it be ignored?

AUDIT LOG:
1. The WARNING of "contains an unlicensed assertion".

SSG LOG:
2. The WARNINGs: "not found when updating WebSocketConnectionEntity"
3. The WARNINGs: "No encapsulated assertion config found with GUID"
4. The WARNINGs: "Unable to prepare entity for assertion ordinal 24 of policy GUID"

Environment

All supported versions of the API Gateway

Resolution

1. The WARNING of "contains an unlicensed assertion".
ANS: These warning messages are related to OpenID Connect Authentication, used by the MAG. If you're not using the MAG, this can be ignored.

2. The WARNINGs: "not found when updating WebSocketConnectionEntity"
ANS: These warning messages are related to the WebSocket Connections assertion. If you're not using this custom assertion, these can be ignored.

3. The WARNINGs: "No encapsulated assertion config found with GUID"
ANS: Service policies are cached before the encapsulated assertions, so the service cache update is trying to find an encapsulated assertion that does not exist. These can be ignored.

4. The WARNINGs: "Unable to prepare entity for assertion ordinal 24 of policy GUID"
ANS: These warning messages are related to the MSSO Device App Lookup not being found. MSSO is MAG SSO. If you're not using the MAG, these can be ignored.
