Unable to add work to Timesheet due to error: "TMA-1003"

Issue/Introduction

When adding work to a timesheet, the following error is displays:
TMA-1003: Resource assignment is either invalid or there is already an existing time entry for the assignment: Resource ID

Environment

Release: Any

Cause

This is due to a project team or task configuration issue.

Resolution

The error can occur if the resource is not assigned to the task and the task status is 'Completed' 

Check to ensure the following is set:

1. Is the resource a team member of the project? If not,  assign them to the task, OR
2. Change the project task status to 'Not Started' or 'Started' if not already set.
