Issue/Introduction
When implementing the KDFAES encryption algorithm in RACF, are there any implictions for CA-IDMS?
Environment
CA IDMS, all supported releases.
Resolution
No.
CA-IDMS, when using external security for RESTYPE=SGON, just passes along the password as entered by the user directly to the external security package.
What the external package does with it is of no consequence to IDMS.
No action is necessary for IDMS.
