How is the automatic symbolic variable %TODB2V populated in RC/Migrator for Db2 for z/OS (RCM).

Resolution

The %TODB2V automatic symbolic variable is populated using the Db2 version and mode details obtained from DSNHDECP. RC/Migrator then strips this information into
the format vvrrmm. This is done early in the analysis process and the information is then available to any utility model that references it; for example, OREORGTS.
