    at com.nimsoft.probe.application.azure.impl.rm.AzureResourceManagerCollector.verifySubscription(AzureResourceManagerCollector.java:966)

Inventory update failed and Connection failed for resource messages in the log

Environment

Any UIM Version
Any Azure probe version

Cause

Missing Application Role in the Subscription

Resolution

Access the Azure Portal and Navigate to the 

Navigate to the subscriptions, Access Control and click ADD.

 

Now in the ADD Permissions, please set:

Role: Reader

Assign Access to:

Azure AD user, group or application

Select: <the application you created>

Now you will not have that errors, and need to be able to Test the Azure probe connection Successfully
