Issue/Introduction

When setting up a web service to contact and query the on-demand environment, which certificate(s) need to be used on your web services for a successful SSL handshake between the web services app and the SaaS environment?

Environment

Release: All Clarity versions

Cause

To connect to a SaaS environment using web services, an export of the certificate from the SaaS environment URL, e.g. https://<host>.ondemand.ca.com is required

Resolution

1. Open a case to obtain the SaaS environment certificate export.
2. After obtaining the certificate, import the certificate into the custom web services application to ensure a successful connection to the Clarity SaaS environment.
