"Failed to create empty document" in Visual DBA

Issue/Introduction

When trying to connect to IDMS with Visual DBA, error message "Failed to create empty document" is encountered and the dc-log has this:

16:27 IDMS DC396004 V1 T64 Protocol error, invalid packet, reason = 4
16:27 IDMSJSRV: JPAC*ERR

Environment

Release: All supported releases.
Component: Visual DBA.

Cause

The SQL definitions required for Visual DBA have not been added to the catalog.

Resolution

Add the required SQL definitions.

They are in the file vdb5v18x.sql in the \CA\CA IDMS Visual DBA v18\IdmsV18x\ sub-directory in the install files.
