OSIM: Exit code 39 [OSG001106] when creating a new Boot Image from the Windows 10 1809 ADK.

Issue/Introduction

After installing the Windows 10 1809 ADK (Automated Deployment Kit) and attempting to import a New Boot Image in the OSIM IPS (Image Prepare System), the following error is encountered:

Command execution failed with exit code: 39 [OSG001106]

Started creating Windows PE image in folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\Server\SDBS\var\ManagedPC\bttmp\winpe10x64 ...

"Error during preparing the $1 image." WINPE10x64

Invalid Windows ADK directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10". Check whether Windows ADK is installed.

CreateBTImages returned error 39:
Failed to create the WinPE boot image in directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\Server\SDBS\var\ManagedPC\bttmp\winpe10x64

Cause

Inside the TRC_USD_CREATEBTIMAGES_0.log, the following trace is observed:

Resolution

Ensure the Windows PE add-on for the ADK is installed:

Also ensure the WINPE10x64 image type is selected from the available choices...
