sd_server.exe could not start and is crashing with following details :

Environment

Client Automation 14.0 *

 

Resolution


1- On scalability server with problem check if there is a file <DSM Path>\ServerDB\SWJORDER\container.bckcof 
Open this file and check it to determine what is the associated SD Job Container.


2- In DSM Explorer, remove the SD Job Container associated with the file container.bckcof found on step 1


3- On Scalability Server delete the file <DSM Path>\ServerDB\SWJORDER\container.bckcof


4- On Scalability Server edit the file <DSM Path>\ServerDB\SWJORDER\cachedagdata.xml with notepad and replace all occurences of
knowntomanager="0"
by
knowntomanager="1" 

Save the file.


5- On Scalability Server open a cmd prompt and execute this : 
 
caf start sdserver 
sd_sscmd bulkupdate
