Issue/Introduction

Receiving XCOMM0780E Txpi 228: Select exception condition for socket 0 when sending to XCOM for HP Nonstop.

Environment

• XCOM™ Data Transport® for z/OS
• XCOM for HP Nonstop IA64

Cause

GUARDIAN STOP PROCEDURES for the HP Xeon and IA64 processors were deprecated and needed to be replaced. 

Resolution

Apply this new maintenance:

SO05940 REPLACE DEPRACATED GUARDIAN STOP PROCEDURES          (IA64)      XCTNDI

TFB7044 REPLACE DEPRACATED GUARDIAN STOP PROCEDURES          (XEON)   XCTNDM
