Issue/Introduction

How do you find out what format of TMC you are currently at using the ISPF panels?

Environment

Supported releases 12.6 and 14.0.

Resolution

1. Go to your ISPF panels

2. Choose Option 1 for INQ/UPD

3. While in the inquire/update panel, go to Inquire TMC control record and say YES

4. If it shows LOW1, HIGH1, LOW2, HIGH2 your TMC is in the old format

5. If it shows RANGE=XXXXXX-XXXXXX, then the TMC is in the new format
