Issue/Introduction

How to determine if the TMC is in Extended format TMC using the ISPF panels?

Resolution

1. Go to your ISPF panels

2. Choose Option 1 for INQ/UPD

3. While in the Inquire/Update panel, go to INQUIRE TMC CONTROL RECORD and enter YES

4. If it shows LOW1, HIGH1, LOW2, HIGH2 for your ranges then the TMC is in the old format (non-extended format)

   If it shows RANGE=xxxxxx-xxxxxx for your ranges  then the TMC is in the new extended format.
