Issue/Introduction

The single socket listener is installed and we do not use the multi-socket listener.

TISRVLIS has been copied from the CEG8PLD1 library, and the CICS socket server listener exit has been implemented.  

The exit source code is TIRSIPEX, and the corresponding executable is TIRSIPEX.

Is there any need to reimplement the CICS sockets server listener exit after applying this PTF?

Environment

CA GEN, release 8.5

Resolution

After applying the ptf, stop the TISRVLIS and TISRVMSL listeners.

Then install the new versions of ECHO, TIRORUNC, TISRVLIS and TISRVMSL in the CICS DFHRPL library concatenation and NEWCOPY them.

The listeners can then be restarted. 

There are no further special instructions for the source member TIRSIPEX and the corresponding executable TIRSIPEZ.
