When the BMP option is used to collapse BMP message-driven transaction records, a S0C4 ABEND might occur while running LDE as an exit in the IMS Archiver. The same problem can occur while processing raw IMS log data with a standalone LDE job, or with a DAY060/INCR060 step.
This problem does not affect customers who process data generated by BMC Mainview for IMS.
SYMPTOMS The IMS Archive using the LDE exit or the standalone LDE job or the DAY060/INCR060 step fail with a S0C4 ABEND and error messages similar to the following appears in the JESMSGLG output DD:
