Issue/Introduction

Spectrum sending GetNextRequest with community string followed by the "@" character

Environment

Release: Any
Component: SPCCSS

Resolution

During the AutoDiscovery process, Spectrum reads information from the dot1dTpFdbTable, commonly referred to as the forwarding table.

Information in this table is stored per VLAN id. For example, VLAN id 10, 20 and 30.

If the community string is "public" in order to read the entries in the forwarding table for VLAN id 10, Spectrum needs to read the table using "public@10" to read the entries for VLAN id 10.

Spectrum reads the forwarding table for each VLAN id configured on the device.
